When the owner of Honeydew Aesthetics came to me she had a clear vision: to launch a business around helping women feel joyful and confident in their own skin by enhancing their natural beauty.
The main problem that Honeydew Aesthetics had, being a new business, was the total lack of branding. She tried on her own but she knew she couldn’t bring the vision she had to life & get it to the standard she needed to be seen as a professional and trustworthy brand.
The goal was to establish Honeydews presence as an expert in their field and create a cohesive branding experience that let their audience know that while they ARE professional and great at what they do, there is always room too have a little bit of fun.
To align with Honeydews main focus on wanting to feel approachable, I chose to go with a blockier, hand drawn & imperfect feeling serif font throughout the logo suite to emphasize the overall vibe Honeydew wanted to achieve - approachable, charming and natural.
Since the target audience of the brand was a bit younger, I wanted the color palette to feel bright, refreshing and girly without it being seen as too juvenile. To achieve this we went with a color palette that’s primarily an off white, pastel yellow and a soft green to create a refreshing & bright vibe with accents of pink, a brighter green and a warm brown to keep & girly & natural.
Through thoughtful, intentional and strategic design we were able to bring Honeydew Aesthetic’s vision to life & create a brand that not only stands out by making bolder choices within the typography and color palette that’s not typically seen within the Aesthetic's industry but creating something that truly resonates with it’s target audience.
The result is a brand that is as fun, fresh and bright as it is professional, perfectly representing Honeydew Aesthetics vibe.
